What is Curated’s $5M Recovery Grant? 

We are providing a $5M offering to help small businesses, entrepreneurs, + diverse founders with a path forward, particularly in light of returning to work following the aftermath of Covid-19. 

Our Grant initiative is a program designed to fill the gaps in resources, hiring, + budgets by providing the tools and support needed as you navigate this new way. 

Our Grant is in the form of services and product offering through Curated. We believe that offering Curated’s product to help guide many companies means that we can support both brands looking to grow and teams providing services through Curated. We are not giving away cash - this is a conscious effort to support as many companies as possible, as best we can as a business.

There are several government resources available, including the Paycheck Protection Program and SBA loans which can be found at SBA.gov.


Who is eligible for the Grant? 

We have structured the program to support entrepreneurs + diverse founders, in particular, navigate this time as they often have lean teams and resources. We encourage all forward thinkers to apply. Anyone looking to rebuild + reopen in any entirely new way, looking to set their company back on the path of growth, and organizations that may be struggling in light of layoffs and reorganization. 

As Curated’s network of Boutique Teams specializes in digital + creative work, we also encourage those within a marketing position to apply on behalf of their organization. We can help the gaps your team may be experiencing as a result of the global pandemic.  

Our aim is to become an ‘extension’ of your team — helping with project strategy, planning, and outsourcing partners. 


What are the offerings of the Grant? 

Over the course of 6 months, we’ll provide you with $4K+ in resources to support restructuring in budget, hiring, and initiatives. This includes:

How many grants will be awarded? 

We have allocated up to $5M in the form of services and product offering to help businesses through Recovery. This lends itself to up to 1,000+ recipients. 


Is the Grant available to international applicants? 

Yes - we take a global approach to outsourcing with Curated Members in 25 countries and 5,000 Boutique Teams, worldwide. Our team is available globally to provide you with solutions tailored to your project timeline, region, and budget. 


Can I apply more than once?

Due to the large number of applicants we anticipate, we ask that you only submit one application. We do encourage referrals of colleagues, friends, family - anyone looking to rebuild with remote resources and teams. As a thank you, referers will receive reduced rates on Curated services. 


Will I be receiving monetary USD compensation? 

Grant recipients will not receive actual monetary compensation, but rather $4K+ in resources that will support their businesses during this time. This includes the offerings listed above + here

How long does the application process take?

Each application takes about 10 minutes to complete — and requires only topline knowledge of your business + needs. You can expect to receive details on next steps in about 3+ days time. 


What information is needed to apply for a grant? 

The topline that gives us more perspective about your business gaps post Covid-19. This will allow our team of Curators to best service your projects, strategy + needs. 


I’m not interested in the Grant, but can I refer to someone to apply? 

Yes, we encourage referrals of colleagues, friends, family - anyone looking to rebuild with remote resources and teams in an entirely new way. Referers will receive reduced rates on Curated products. You can make a referral using the form at the bottom of this page.


How will I know if my application has been received?

Upon submission you’ll receive a confirmation email confirming receipt of your application. We’ll update you on next steps as your application progresses. 


What is the timeline for the Grant? 

Grant recipients will be accepted as early as July 1st, 2020. Once an application is approved and accepted, you’ll have access to the Premium Curated membership + Recovery Grant Programing for 6 months (from date approved). 

How are applications being evaluated?

Just as we have democratized the agency model, we aim to provide Curated to as many businesses as possible. We have designed the Grant initiative to support entrepreneurs + diverse founders, in particular, but we encourage all forward thinkers to apply. We will not discriminate based on background, revenue, region, size or industry. Curated reserves the right to determine who qualifies, and Curated’s decision is final. 

Who is reviewing applications?

Our team of Curators, each industry experts in their respective fields (digital, web development, etc), as well as internal delegation of Grant Program Advisors. 


How will I know if I have been selected to receive a grant? 

Upon submission you’ll receive a confirmation email confirming receipt of your application. Within about 3-7 days time you should learn of your application status via email. From there, you can opt into your Grant. Communications from our team will provide you with the necessary details + information on next steps.
