Sales Manager

Curated is seeking a Sales Manager to join our team in NYC. This individual will be responsible for outward client sales and incoming communications, including identifying new prospects and building relationships with potential clients.

The ideal candidate has had prior experience in sales and client relations, and is also savvy on emerging startups. This person loves connecting with people and will ultimately be Curated’s brand representative with potential clients.

  • Source new clients leads, both online & off, helping to exceed monthly sales & prospecting goals
  • Develop client leads through phone, email, and social media outreach
  • Convert leads into calls and/or in-person appointments
  • Cultivate relationships with organizations and clients where Curated could be of benefit
  • Handle all incoming inquiries and communication with potential clients
  • Work directly with our data & acquisition leads to align on opportunities to further acquire new clients
  • Work cross-functionally to support various company initiatives
  • Embody the mission and vision of Curated with an understanding of how and why we do what we do


  • 3+ years of sales + client relation experience, ideally (but not required) at another digital-first commerce brand, media, or agency
  • Strong familiarity with the start-up space (specifically emerging direct-to-consumer brands and tech companies)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Highly organized and process oriented, but able to thrive in a constantly changing environment
  • Excited to roll up your sleeves and be part of a collaborative startup team
