Account Lead

Curated is seeking an Account Lead to join our team. This individual will be responsible for all client touch points including: prospecting, onboarding / communications, and overall project assistance.

The ideal candidate has had prior experience in sales or business development within a creative / digital agency setting. They love connecting with people and will ultimately be Curated’s brand representative among our clients.

At Curated, we have built a global ecosystem that connects our clients (modern brands) with leading small agencies + tools needed to execute projects. Our process has completely redefined the agency model and one’s approach to outsourced work.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of new business through proactive outreach, qualified leads, and targeted account mappings
  • Identify + drive client needs; turning them into revenue generating projects
  • Expertly position and communicate Curated’s value proposition to clients whether by phone, email, or in-person meetings
  • Establish a client communications strategy that includes onboarding + regular engagement tactics  
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of Curated clients and their respective project needs (briefs, proposals, etc)
  • Work cross-functionally to support various company initiatives
  • Embody the mission and vision of Curated with an understanding of how and why we do what we do

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience, ideally at another digital or media agency
  • Strong familiarity or exposure around the marketing + digital needs of a modern brand
  • Have an understanding as to how digital platforms (social media, email, etc) and communication can best service the Curated client
  • Experience in maintaining and updating a CRM 
  • Knowledgeable and open to the needs of emerging companies and growing start-ups, with the ability to translate those needs into actionable deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Highly organized and process oriented, but able to thrive in a constantly changing environment
  • Excited to roll up your sleeves and be part of a collaborative startup team
